Finally finished first 4th of July outfit
I'm back!! Isabella's recital was so much fun. She worked so hard and she did a fantastic job. Now, I'm back to sewing. I've been working on the girls' July 4th outfits and today I was able to complete Isabella's. Her favorite character is Hello Kitty and once she spotted this fabric at Jo-Ann's she had to have it. I'm debating on the look with or without the pettiskirt. I could use some feedback, please let me know your thoughts...to pettiskirt or not to pettiskirt???

About Me
- Rachel
- Hello, I’m Rachel. I started sewing 9 months ago and fell in love with putting together unique clothes for my children to wear. Although I’ve focused mainly on clothes I’m trying to branch out into other crafts. This blog gives a peek into my current projects. Please feel to leave comments or email me questions or ideas at rachel@sewambitious.com. Thanks for visiting!

oh that is just adorable! Does she like to twirl around in it? Looks like that kinda skirt! I love it!
I wanna twirl! ha!
That is such a cute skirt and model as well. I bought a pattern from McCalls for a very similar one.
Pettiskirt for sure, I think. But you know me, I think anything you do is awesome! Do you want to do some thing next week? We can swim in my yard or play at your house? let me know!
I'm going to say no pettiskirt - because while we all know it's cute either way - it seems to me with the pettishirt it detracts from her adorable top and keeps your attention on the skirt.
How adorable though is the red, white & blue Hello Kittie fabric you were able to get. Great job!
Haupi
I have a doubt: when I google the word pettiskirt it came a lot of images of fluffy skirts.
If that is the case then I'm with Haupi, no pettiskirt.
But if the pettiskirt is the red fabric that we see in the pictures then I will say yes.
:)
I love it just the way it is! It is so full and twirly!
I love this skirt. The Hello Kitty is to die for!
Love this fabric. You are so lucky to have beautiful girls to sew for! Love this skirt. Do you think I could make one in my size? LOL
