Fun Balloon Dress from T shirt Scraps
A few months ago I saw this adorable dress over at Ruffles and Stuff. It looked like a quick, and easy project so I decided to give it a try last night. It only took one hour from start to finish and I love how it turned out! I used one of Elizabeth's outgrown turtlenecks and some remnants from a few other T shirt dresses I made a couple of weeks ago. I added an extra ruffle to the bottom and appliqued a red and pink balloon to give a fun, playful theme. I plan to alter the sleeves for summer.

- Hello, I’m Rachel. I started sewing 9 months ago and fell in love with putting together unique clothes for my children to wear. Although I’ve focused mainly on clothes I’m trying to branch out into other crafts. This blog gives a peek into my current projects.
